YOUNG PROFESSIONALS

Ages 20-35

Catholics Belong Together to Grow as Disciples of Jesus Christ

We are a large but welcoming young adult community in their 20s and 30s.

You can attend a larger main event, plug into one of our small groups, or help build the community by joining a volunteer team.

For a full list of all of these, see our separate website: frassatiseattle.org.

Main Event Descriptions

Young Adult Mass & Dinner

5:30pm Mass at Blessed Sacrament, followed by dinner in hall (usually 1st Sunday of the Month)

Be sure to join the Frassati Young Adult Community for our monthly Mass and dinner! After Mass, we go downstairs in the hall beneath the Church and enjoy a meal together cooked by a different volunteer group. (Some of us go often out to the pub afterwards as well).

Social Events

We try to have at least one social event a month. This includes baseball games, ice cream socials, movie nights, etc. There is also usually a social aspect to every main event we have, like going to the pub after Lumen.

Lumen Speaker Series

7 pm at Newman

“Lumen” is when we come together to hear a speaker, followed by going to the chapel to pray/chant night prayer, followed by enjoying some social time (usually at a pub). Speakers are usually either a Dominican priest or a Frassati Young Adult, but we also ask outside speakers to come as well.

Hike & Mass

The only thing better than a hike, is a hike with a bunch of Catholics and Holy Mass at the top! Our hiking leaders try to offer at least one planned-in-advance hike a month, and if possible, with a priest and Mass. (And in winter, we snowshoe!).

Praise & Adoration Nights

7:30 pm Praise & Worship

9pm Social

Spend your Saturday night with other young adults praising the Lord! We will begin with a holy hour with Praise and Worship at UW Newman, followed by a social. Undergrads are warmly invited.
