The Newman Center is proud to serve active and retired Catholic faculty and staff at the University of Washington. They play a critical role in nurturing the minds and hearts of students at the university, and their insights, expertise, faith, and support is invaluable.
Newman engages faculty and staff by offering access to volunteer opportunities, daily Masses, RCIA, roundtable discussions, debates, lectures, quarterly luncheons for faculty and staff, the Sacraments, support from priests, and other resources. Many faculty and staff have enjoyed presenting lectures at Newman on a variety of topics. FREE QUARTERLY FACULTY AND STAFF LUNCHEONS: One of our most accessible and frequent events for faculty and staff are Newman’s free faculty and staff luncheons held each quarter at the UW Club Conference Room. They’re a great opportunity to network with other faculty and staff, support each other in faith, and learn more about the Newman Center and the services it offers.
