SHE Speaks: A Panel on Women and the Church
Do you have questions or ideas about gender and Catholicism? What does it mean to be a woman in the Church? How do we define femininity? What does the Church teach about gender roles? Why don't we have female priests? What does God think of women and the state of gender issues around the world today? How are women uniquely called to serve, to love, to fight, to teach? Frassati Graduates & Young Professionals group is putting on a panel to discuss these and other questions. A group of articulate, Catholic women from various walks of life, together with one of our servant-hearted Dominican priests, will be offering their insights into these and other questions about women and the Church. Come with questions and join the discussion! The event begins at 7:30 on Thursday, November 6. We will begin with a facilitated panel, and eventually open the floor for questions. Contact Mikaela for more information.
