Frassati Graduate Students and Young Adults

The Newman Center experience doesn’t just end with graduation! Join the Frassati Graduate Student & Young Adult group to keep your faith growing!

The Frassati Group runs programs made just for graduate students, recently graduated, and young working professionals - programs ranging from small groups and lectures to social events and retreats. It’s a great way to stay connected to a faith community, make close friends, grow in faith, and have fun!!

Small Groups

Frassati Small Groups are a great way to build a closer, more tight knit community centered around the Catholic faith. Our current small groups range from Men’s Groups and Women’s Groups to “Books &Beers” and Papal Encyclicals. Explore different areas of your faith and continue your faith journey with a small group today! Fill out the survey at this link here.

Fall Retreat: To Praise, To Bless, To Preach

Please join Newman's Frassati Graduate Student and Young Adult Ministry for our Fall Retreat, "To Praise, To Bless, To Preach: Deepening Your Faith Through Dominican Spirituality," Sept 5 to 7, at Harbor Creek Lodge in Gig Harbor!

Learn about the four pillars of Dominican Spirituality - Prayer, Study, Community, and Apostolate - and find ways to apply them to our own lives. Grow your faith, become closer to Christ, and (like our Holy Father Dominic) set the world on fire with Christ’s love!!

The cost is $70 for the two night stay and four meals. Sign up by August 31! Register for the retreat at this link here, or contact Mikaela at mikaela@uwnewman.org for more info!

Saturday Night Alive

Saturday Night Alive is a monthly event for all young adults in the greater Seattle Area. Spend an hour in Eucharistic Adoration followed by a social hour (sometimes with live music!). And for the 21+ crowd, an after party at Murphy’s Pub in Wallingford.

Our next Saturday Night Alive is September 20th, 7pm at a special location: St. James Cathedral (more info on the Facebook event here)! Pencil in the dates for the rest of the year, and we hope to see you there!
