Frassati Graduates and Young Adults
The Newman Center experience doesn’t just end with graduation! Join the Graduate & Young Adult group and keep your faith growing!
The Newman Young Adult group plans and runs programs and events for graduate students, those recently graduated and young working professionals. It’s a great way to stay connected to the community, make close friends, grow in faith, and have fun together around town. Typical Grad events include potlucks, Café Newman (talent show), the annual Grad Retreat, community service projects, Theology on Tap, Drinks with Dominicans, and various supporting and mentoring roles within Newman undergraduate programming.

Spring Retreat: The Light of Faith
What sparks your faith?
A lot of peoples' faith is works-driven, and involves the giving of time and resources. For others, their faith lives lie mainly in quiet contemplation and prayer.
Our hope for this retreat is to connect the "do-ers" with the "pray-ers" so they can support and learn from each other. The guide for us will be "The Light of Faith," Pope Francis' first encyclical.
Join our community for a beautiful spring weekend! Together, we'll discern how we each need to find balance between "faith & works" to get the most fulfilling experiences out of our Christian lives.
